The Top 10 BEST Cities to live in the United States for 2024. A lot of these mid-sized towns are in the best states to move to in America, but a few are near the worst places to live in the USA.

In order to determine which US city is the best (or worst), we first separated them into different groups based on their size:

Big Cities (Metropolitan population OVER 3 million residents)
Medium Cities (Metro population between 1.5 to 3 million)
Small Cities (Metro population UNDER 1.5 million)

We then analyze their economy, crime and safety, cost of living, education, traffic, things to do, and quality of life, among other categories. I also implemented my personal experiences and the pros and cons of each location to find the 10 best places to live in the United States. There will be a new video for EACH city size group, and maybe a worst places to live list too!
My biggest suggestion is to visit these cities and states first to decide where you want to move to and live.

➽ SUBSCRIBE for 2-3 new videos EVERY WEEK!

Thanks for watching From Here to There! This is another top ten video where we explain cool facts about the world, it's history and geography, starting with the different states, cities, and towns in the United States.

EDIT: *Please upvote this* - Saw a few of the numbers are off in the overlays. Just pay attention to the number I say for each city from #5 onwards. Sorry about that, edited this video late last night and must've forgot to change a few of the numbers

Investors need to adapt to the rich policy of venturing into several streams of investment if they want to hold strong grounds on the financial market.

I would say I’ll stick to living in Orlando but it’s getting waaaay too expensive here. The amount of people moving into Florida is making it hard to live in smh 🤦🏽‍♂️

Nice video. I’ve been in Pittsburgh almost 20 years now and we like to think it’s a well kept secret. Love living here.

No Kansas City? My wife and I just moved here and love it. It is a very underrated city. Downtown is nice, Country Club Plaza, all of the nice neighborhoods. KC is definitely a great mid-sized city!

Very solid list here, as a lifelong Pittsburgher it’s nice to see my city finally getting some love on lists like this. Overall really solid place to live especially if you’re into sports and nature/outdoor activities. People always say a con of Pittsburgh is the weather but I say it’s a pro because we actually get all 4 seasons here. It’s nice because you can enjoy what all of the seasons have to offer and you never get tired of one because they only last for 3-4 months. Also has a great size plenty to offer but not overwhelmingly large, it’s easier than other cities to get from one side of town to the other. Also since it’s close I frequently visit Columbus and have to say it’s also a really great city on the rise. People there are friendly, traffic is not bad at all for it’s size, and there are a lot of really neat districts and neighborhoods with a lot to do. Also planning on going to Austin soon since I had some family move there pretty recently and I’ve heard very good things about it. Can’t wait to get out there and see what it’s all about. Solid list though

its honestly sad how excited I’ve been for this video (and every other video on this channel). From Here to There and Geography King have become my favorite travel/geo channels on YouTube. As a Portland resident who moved here in early 2020 and lives in the center of the city, it’s nice to see one of these channels not totally misconstrue reality with opinion. Every city has its flaws and perks - I’ve personally loved living here. Excellent vid once again!

Two of my favorite cities: Portland and Pittsburgh. Interestingly, both are hilly with rivers as important elements of the landscape.

As someone who just moved out of Austin, it’s definitely a changing city every day. It’s the most expensive city in Texas and while there is tons to do in Austin, the homeless crisis is very rough. It is the next Silicon Valley with tons of tech companies moving in.

Austin is always number 1 on these lists but I am ready to get out of here. Been here 5 years. I can’t take another summer.

I love Jacksonville, it is the only big city in America that is quite and peaceful. Like to your video.

I love these annual city lists. Can't wait for the Small Cities list now. This one and the Large Cities list this year are great.
