Lucy, who is blind and neurodivergent, plays a highly complex Chopin piece, leaving Mika and Lang Lang speechless on The Piano At Christmas. Now, appearing alongside Gregory Porter for a festive duet, she brings Kings Cross station to a standstill.

I am sure a lot a of people seeing this don’t know Gregory Porter, because his fame is mostly in jazz and some R&B circles but he is is not a household name. However, know that he is literally one of the most acclaimed and important jazz singers working today and is the hub for an incredible group of a young new jazz musicians in the US. And great job by Lucy, too!

What a wonderful performance, she is an amazing pianist and Gregory is a fabulous singer. There is a moment when you can see the young lady smiling as Gregory is extending his voice in power and range which shows the joy that both the performer and the listener is sharing. Truly moving.
