The roots of the Great Depression have been debated for decades, but what if the real culprit was bad government policy? In this episode, Ben dives into the economic chaos of the 1930s, examining the theories of Keynes, Friedman, and the Austrian economists. From government overreach to monetary mismanagement, discover how different interpretations of the Depression still influence economic decisions today. The second I heard Kamalas plan, I knew how bad it was, and im only 17. She's a presidential nominee. I mean, seriously, does she not know her plan will leave America's economy in ruin.

Coming out of facing alot, I knew two things about the stock market: It caused the Great Depression, and the fastest way to make a million on the markets was to start with two million. And then the Great Recession happened only a few years later. So yeah, I wish someone had better explained it to me earlier in life. Having a good entry and exit strategy will make you succeed in the stock market.

I was a stay-at-home, homeschool mom in 2019. We lived frugally, but we got by. If we wanted to do something special, I'd pick up a random job here and there. Then came covid and dual hurricanes and damage to our home. We don't have credit cards or anything like that, but we did take out an SBA loan to fix the house. The payment was small, and we could handle it. Then came Bidenomics. Our car and home insurance has more than doubled. Gas is way up. Groceries are way up. Everything is just so expensive. I now work overnight in a grocery store so that I can be available during the day. We still can't pay our bills. My husband and I are both looking for second jobs. I'm starting to realize we are probably going to lose our home. We can't rent for the cost of our house payment. I don't know what we will do. This nation can't continue down this train wreck of a course.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Never underestimate the government's ability to make things worse while claiming to be fixing them.

Honestly, this concerns me and has left me uneasy. Especially this potential depression, no more a recession. I'm now thinking of ways to protect my portfolio worth of $800k from this bloodbath.

We get taught about how smart FDR is in school and how his monetary policies were essential. I always wondered why if that was the case, why did the depression not end for another 10 years.

Government is good at...wait for it...nothing. There are no consequences if government policies and people get it wrong. The private sector must live in a world of consequences. Meritocratic, must meet payrolls, pay taxes, stay competitive, on and on. The most competent and adaptable thrive. Cream floats. It's not perfect but it's the best that humanity has figured out so far.

*When the Great Depression and other huge catastrophes occurred, I used to believe that everyone went bankrupt, but they didn't... Some made millions; I also assumed that everyone closed their businesses during these times, but certain did start new ones. It all depends on your point of view; there will always be moments of prosperity for some individuals and times of depression or recession for others.*

If the democrat Party won, we would all be in huge trouble. To get a position handed to you without proper knowledge of how money works for a country and its people is very scary.

Ben Bernake of the Federal Reserve gave a speech at a university before 2008 on the Great Depression. At the end of it, he acknowledged that Milton Friedman was right. The Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression.

But don't worry, we've learned our lesson.

Preparing for the Impending Great Depression: Strategies for Thriving During The Great Reset. Wondering about the right timing for stock investments? Curious about the timeline for a complete economic recovery? Puzzled about how some individuals are generating over $450k in profits within months in the current market scenario? These questions have left me perplexed.

I never thought I would see not 1, but 2 commercial airliners crash into skyscrapers, AND the government shut down the country, so...at this point, nothing is too far fetched.

The production value in this video was tremendous! One of the best videos about the great depression that encapsulated the causes of it. Also, I appreciated the synopsis of great recession, and the differing theories behind both. Thank you!
