Lovely tutorial as always BUT, you always go too fast. You reply to comments such as these telling us to pause and understand it, but the issue is that you don't tell us why we are doing what we are doing. With all due respect, you are a great game developer who has made really fun games, but ill take in instance the game handler. You don't tell us why it is useful, what we are doing with it. Another example- The UI empty gameobject. If you made it and changed the position to 1000, 1, 1000, but the canvas still comes right in the middle, why did you do that? I am sure there is a reason, but the explanation is missing. No offense, but that's the difference in you and brackeys. Looking at the work both of you have done, I am sure you are a better game designer/developer, but as a learning source, brackeys is a lot better. He tells us why we are doing what we are doing.

HOL F dude! that was incredible! never seen anything like this anywhere, people were telling me all the time to keep UI disabled and make it start on play. this is something else. im watching all your videos.

Hey there, thank you for your awesome videos. I have 2 questions here, could you elaborate on:
1- the clear flags of depth only, why did you do that?
2- About the canvas scaler, what if I was developing a mobile game, what would be a good reference res, to be sure that you cover tablets and smart phones and would I also go for only Height match?

Ah man you should have shown that you changed the fond size and the alignment at 4:32, it's a detail but changes the result a bit.
Thanks for the video, that UI approach seems to keep stuff really tidy, i'm sure it'll be helpfull in the future !

I had no idea you made Game Corp, that game is pretty fun! I was just looking for a tutorial on Unity, I didn't know you were responsible for a game I like! I don't know if it's still a project you're interested in, but I'd love to see another update expanding upon the game, that'd be pretty cool.

Even though I am a beginner, I enjoy the speed at which you teach these concepts. I think it is up the individual to stop at parts they don't understand, and google one's way to victory

You always solve my problems with unity.
Currently I'm working on a project named MONKEY THROWS APPLES.
And the canvas of ui was just too big for my game view, I didn't know what to do, this short video solved many of my problems.

VERY awesome you do not disappoint. I even learned a bit, and I am pretty advanced.

I implemented this into an existing game, pretty easy. HOWEVER I had to set my UI Camera (the one in the video); I set its Depth to 1. IE I want this camera to be in front of my game camera.

Thank you for this. I was getting so frustrated when my UI elements were so large, I could figure out how to place them on the canvas with the right sizing. This video sure helped.

Hello! Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I wanted to ask how I can get the "Depth only" option on "Clear Flags". I am using the 2021.2.4f1 version of Unity, and I can't find it.
