The Santa Cruz will be remembered for its uniqueness. The Tuscon is just like any other SUV on the road. Both are great. If you ask a general consensus of what's more preferrable, most men will say the Santa Cruz is more preferrable whereas most women would choose the Tuscon. If you live a more rugged lifestyle, the Santa Cruz is the best option, if you live a more posh lifestyle the Tuscon is the best option.

I’d say the bed of the Santa Cruz and the towing capacity are two solid reasons to not trade it for anything else.

Interesting to see how Santa Cruz fits Nathan's needs well. There is a need for these kinds of trucks!

Keep the cruz over the tucson. There's better suv options for the price but the cruz is in it's own niche between the two

Just bought a 2023 Tucson limited. Beautiful interior. Beautiful car. Love it.💕

I think if you're going Tuscon, you have to go hybrid. The Tuscon is the family/road trip vehicle. I drive a lot so a Tuscon hybrid would benefit me more than the utility and style of the Cruz. Now if they put a hybrid in the Cruz...

I find the Kia sportage prettier than the Tucson. I would keep the Santa Cruz definitely in this case

Six years ago, if the Santa Cruz had been around, it would have been my first choice. Now that I'm an apartment dweller, gimme the Tucson.

I love how you two interact. Nathan is best with closing it by saying I'm just an idiot lol. You're far from it. Great insight, Nathan, both on the Santa Cruz and your sister's POV for Tucson.

The SC comes in a Night edition with runners and a blacked out gill and wheels. pretty slick imo. With the turbo 2.5 it has 281 HP

The Santa Cruz is reasonably cool and quite useful. The Tucson a generic mom-mobile. One word: Shrinkage.

I have both a 2023 tucson sel premium and a 2023 santa Cruz SEL and they are both great and I can say I like the Santa Cruz better and the seating position in the cruze is better to me and my wife preferred the Tucson. You guys are correct. are completely 2 different vehicles, and the Santa Cruze like mine with AWD has the Santa fe rear suspension. The Tucson is very nice though we love the both.

My wife drives a 2022 Tucson Amazon grey and I have a sage Santa Cruz. I love both

Let’s not forget the “cool” factor: the Santa Cruz is cool while the Tuscan is…

I've had the Tucson for 16 months...super comfortable....easy to drive...very quiet...lots of cargo space...35mpg avg with the gas engine...perfect for an old man...the santa cruz would be perfect for a younger me....forget the XRT...its just appearance...spend the money to level up to leather and power liftgate.

I never thought I’d see the day where people compared, which Hyundai is better

Deduction of being similar is not a good comparison. If I bought the Santa Cruz, it's because I wanted an open bed vehicle, trucklike, not another damn suv. If Kia would ever make the open bed Soul concept, I would go for it in a heartbeat. It's just that Hyundai and Ford came out with these little trucks first.

We’ve leased a ‘22 tucson since summer of 2021 and have had nothing but problems with it. Left us broken down stranded twice. Suffice to say, we’re done with Hyundais after our lease is up.

I purchased the 2023 Hyundai Tucson SEL with the 2.5 Litter and 8 speed Trns. and loving it, in the future I'm considering the El Hyndai-nimo Santa Cruz with the same trim and specs.

I do wish there were more options for the Santa Cruz, still no topper for the back, would be nice to have for road trips, that’s my only grip with it. The tonneau is not fully weatherproof. I’ve pondered trading it for that reason but, it’s hard to give up that open bed for other stuff even if it not that often
