StarCraft 2: Neeb Plays SKYTOSS Without CARRIERS?! (Scarlett vs Neeb)

SkyToss is very common at the professional level of StarCraft 2. However it usually is played with as many Carriers as possible. In this game of Zerg versus Protoss between Scarlett and Neeb, the Protoss player decides to skip Carriers entirely.

StarCraft 2 is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed and released by Blizzard Entertainment.

That match was exemplary. Scarlett showing us why she's called the queen of creep, and Neeb using some unorthodox protoss tactics to completely ruin her production and anchor himself in. That mass cleanup should have been done with the purifier skin, because it just MELTED through the zerg.

Thanks to Harstem's analysis, Lowko now can see not only "SkyToss", but "Ground army with some air units as a support"! I am proud of you my friend! You are still getting better!

I think the one thing Lowko didn't talk about with tempests is they're protosses only real answer to vipers, and vipers are the main threat to a maxed out skytoss. Yes, you can feedback vipers to stop them... temporarily, but ever since feedback's damage was taken away they can just constantly keep coming back and every time you miss a feedback it's generally a dead capital ship for free. But as long as you can tag them with revelation it's pretty easy to snipe them off with 14 range tempests, which I think is why Scarlett has to pull back so far and allow Neeb to slowly push into the natural. Of course a lot more went into the win than just that, but I still think it was an important aspect.

I've said this before, a few times, but Protoss' Tempests are insane. Not sure why it seems overlooked as a key factor in the battles on a lot of the games I see played. They have crazy range and are abnormally fast for having such long range (together with Revelation). With their ability to target both ground and air, they allow almost constant damage while also allowing to stay quite safe / deal damage with low risk. I hate tempests lol.

Awesome match. In the last fight the observers also got picked off which suddenly made Neeb's army and base completely invisible. (or they would be like 0.5 seconds after gg was called)
