You can currently expand with up to 4 of the power units and 3 of the expansion units giving you a total of 94.5kWh. From what I understand, you will be able to add even more expansion units in the future.

You left out that customers who want the Powerwall 3 may have to wait up to a year to have one installed according to Tesla!!!

Queation, just had my one installed with a 16.7kw solar setup 2 days ago. I notice that during the day the solar generation is only 2kw or exactly the requirekent load from the house. I know the pw3 charges at 5kw so when its charging at 5kw and the house load requirement is 1.5kw then the solar produces that exact sum at 6.5kw is that right? I max out at 10kw. I read thaat the system can do 10kw to the house while charging the battery @5kw. Im in Australia and its a hot sunny day 31c (88f) zero shading. What am i missing here. I just seems that im seeing the solar required power on the roof ajd not the qctual production?
Is there a way to see the actual production?

Unfortunately, if you have a generator, you cannot charge the battery. Otherwise it’s a beautiful battery. I have two of them.
