This was a crazy episode but it is a fan favorite so I decided to review it. Definitely not every day that you see a pole go through two humans!

There actually was a case like the people skewered together. Two guys in a car accident had a similar injury. They wound up sliding them down the pole to get some room between them, draped the poll with frozen, wet towels to keep the heat and friction of the saw from causing further damage, and had every firefighter, paramedic, doctor, and nurse they could spare hold the bar to keep it from vibrating as the fire department sawed the poll in half. Both wound up surviving.
