If you go to Japan again, go to the Iburi Subprefecture, Hidaka Subprefecture, and Ishikari Subprefecture in Hokkaido, Japan, they're mostly perfect for practicing the Ainu language, but it might be still hard because most Ainus don't know about their Ainu ancestry, because of that, I'll recommend going to Nibutani, which is a district in the town of Biratori in the Hidaka Subprefecture which has over 80% of the population identifies as Ainu. The good thing is that Japan and Ainu organizations are continuing to promote the Ainu language, culture, and heritage, preserving its records, so you might find people that speak Ainu as a secondary language and native speakers are raising awareness for the Ainu culture.
