How to Bonsai - Restoring neglected Trident Maple - Gentle work on roots & temp repot

Start of the restoring process for this neglected Trident Maple bonsai

Another recent acquisation, a Trident Maple. Another case of neglect, the pot is broken and held together with wire. The pot looks very old and it looks like its been in this pot for as long as ten years. There is hardly any bonsai soil there and its completely root bound. The pot has to be broken to take it out. The roots are gently worked on and it is temporarily repotted in a round mica pot.
