How to Change Download Location in Windows 10/8.1/7

Change Default Program Files Installation Directory Location.

The default download location on our Windows systems works well enough most of the time without a problem, but what if you want or need to change the location at the system level?

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

May I request that you reply back with the steps to do this for Windows 7 32-bit for this older user who finds it difficult to follow all these steps without getting lost?
It would be much appreciated since my default destination got switched somehow!
BTW, this is another example of how XP was so much easier to use than 7, believe it or not, for example XP has its Search function right up front, whereas 7 forces several steps to accomplish this, and that's another function I'd like to know how to use without tearing my hair out!
I do have Windows 10 on another machine and wonder if 7's idiosyncrecies have been corrected on that.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
