Processing Brains - It doesn't work. My downloads were moved to users my name, documents, downloads - which I never selected and it is NOT the name of the folder I created.

When I tried to follow your steps it opened an ominous warning "do you want to redirect folder downloads into another system folder located at ...if you proceed with redirection you will not be able to separate them or restore them."

Any suggestions?

i have successfully changed my default location in the laptop but when i delete any file from the previous download folder, it also removes the file from the new location.... whats the reason and how it can b fixed?
