Building A 5X SPEED LEVEL!

Geometry Dash has five distinct speed settings: 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x. But as long as speed portals have existed in the game, people have theorized about faster or slower speeds, so today I'll be trying to build a level that brings some of those fan-made speeds into reality!

pro tip: when you are making this kind of level, ALWAYS PUT THE STOP TRIGGER ON THE BEGINNING OF THE LEVEL, CONNECTED TO ON DEATH TRIGGER WITH "Spawn Triggered" ENABLED, TO STOP THE MOVE TRIGGER THAT MAKES THE ULTRA SPEED WORKS

Fun tip: you can try to add the time warp trigger combine with the gravity trigger so that it doesn't look like your character falls or fly really fast

One time I did the super speed boost, but I didn’t know when to stop copy pasting the triggers and eventually I tested the spike I was moving.

The spike FLASHED my screen, and killed my character. It also destroyed my Geometry Dash, considering it wouldn’t open, but one time I was able to open it up, but when I saw the object amount I was shocked. 2000 OBJECTS!?

If you're in GD 2.2 or GDPS 2.2, you can stop the move trigger and activate a timewarp trigger.

now that 2.2 came out its very easy to do by putting a 4x speed portal and a timewarp trigger with: 1.25x for 5x speed, 1.50x for 6x speed, 1.75x for 7x speed and 2x for 8x speed. but the catch is everything will be faster even other triggers like move and rotate

Good video! I enjoyed watching it as always. Also, I think if you tried using a fake default background then it probably would have looked cleaner since I'm pretty sure what breaks the illusion is just that the blocks are moving faster than the bg and ground, making it look weird.
