A 5X and 6X SPEED PORTAL in Geometry Dash 2.2?

In the Geometry Dash 2.2 update, should we see a 5x or a 6x speed portal?

I expected it to be rush E or Aleph 0 because of their speed and stuff, but this works as well. You should try both Aleph 0 and Rush E, both are amazing

Btw, you can't make a wave go 5x speed with the objects going towards you, because the wave allways goes 45°, so the objects would just collide into you mid input.

I think that it's also worth noting that if 5x or 6x speed were come out in 2.2, camera controls will also come with it. Most of the difficulty in going fast comes from having to quickly react to what is in front of you. Because camera controls let you zoom out so much, it would be much easier to manage faster speeds with that much field of view.

Also in my personal opinion there is a difference to layouts and 1.0 levels. Layouts are shells of a level but 1.0 levels sre complete and full.

Honestly, when the 4x speed portal came out, I even thought *that* was a bit of a stretch. 3x felt like the perfect top speed, especially with the nostalgic nine circles levels like Fairydust. 4x to me just feels insane, although some people are able to make good use of it. I'd hardly call a 5x or 6x "necessary", but at the end of the day, the only reason they'd be seen in a bad light is because they're not used well. It all really comes down to who's using it.

Hot take: I actually think 5x speed would be a cool addition to 2.2 since you can now expand the field of view of levels due to the zoom out feature which could potentially make 4x speed seem a bit slow and make 5x speed gameplay much easier to sightread.

The creator of the level is funnygame, he revolutionized the game a lot and inspired many creators. He makes really good levels including this one, it blew my mind when I first saw this level, and same with other levels. Glad that eric is playing this

8x speed is created by me I created a level called the hellstep it’s clubstep but hellish and it includes 8x speed it’s an insane demon but it’s not verified and it’s coming out in 2.2

I think faster speed portals are an interesting idea, but the time warp trigger in 2.2 will probably mean that new speed portals don't need to be added!
