PersonallyI really like Treehouse of horror XXV
Specifically "School is hell"
Where bart gets sent to hell, joins a school in hell and actually acomplishes something.
It is nice to see Bart having a good time without actually doing something wrong.

One of my favorite Treehouse of Horror segments is when Bart & Milhouse order a stop watch from a comic book from the 70s and when they used it, it literally stopped time and everyone was frozen.

12:21 That part where CGI Homer gets disintegrated other than his mouth and shouting gave me nightmares once and it was very uncanny. 0_0

personally I'm preferential to the one where Bart and Lisa accidentally resurrect zombies and try to fix it ("Trojan! Ramses! Magnum! Sheik!"), and also the one where Homer buys the talking Krusty Doll ("Here's your problem. Someone switched this doll to evil.")

I kinda just thought that the fact that the dolphins were being shown as brutal and murderous was meant to be part of the humor- taking the most delightful animals and having them go bad- but I am definitely among those who are less sensitive to seeing creatures I like portrayed negatively.

I was 7 when I watched Treehouse of horror 5. I saw it, laughed, and then went outside and cried because I was scared to death... The next day, I started at my new school, praying I wouldn't get murdered. Yeah, I think I was too young to watch it!

You forgot to mention that at the start of Treehouse of Horrors V, we are greeted with the usual warning message that tonight's show is very scary, which ends up transitioning to an iconic TV thriller reference. And there has never been a warning message at the start of these specials since, because they realized nobody ever listens to them!

Treehouse of horror 1 is my favourite! Not even for the nostalgia factor just because I think it’s just so well done. Tbh the first 3 are all great! Was always better when they tried to make them spooky rather than just weird stories

Always loved Treehouse of Horror since I was a kid! Hell, I sometimes loved it even more then the actual episodes! :)
