But the real question....

Is Nightmare before Christmas a Halloween or Christmas movie??

As someone with Autism, I agree with you on Mary and Max. I don't feel disordered or disabled. I'm fine with my life.

My favorite movie of all time is The Corpse Bride. It took 10.5 years to make and every detail shows. The flawless facial expressions, the beautiful details of “bouncing walking” and wind. People only seem to remember Nightmare, but CB has it all.

Edit: Sorry I missed Kubo. To be honest I thought it was CG! XD My bad. Consider it a definite honourable mention :) Thanks for visiting and have a great week :)

After closing the video, I immediatly went to watch Mary and Max.
I had never heard about it, like...almost every other Australian movies, anyway I loved it.
I'm aspie too and I appreciated this rapresentation of the own feelings of an aspie person about him/herself, that doesn't have to feel defective just for being different.

Fun fact: In Roald Dahl's original book of James and the Giant Peach, the reason his parents got killed was because James and his parents went to London to do some shopping and a rhinoceros had escaped from the nearby London Zoo and ate them on a crowded street. This shows how the writers of the movie didn't read the book properly.

I have to say my favourite claymation is Kubo and the Two Strings, if only for the atmosphere it is able to create
E: Stop motion, not claymation

I am kinda surprised that Kubo and the Two Strings didn't get mention. However, I still liked the list.

Fun fact:
My grandma, who is legally blind, loves stop motion films as she feels they are easier to see and tell whats happening

For years I thought James and the Giant Peach was just some crazy fever dream I had as a small child. It was only relatively recently that I found out that it is an actual movie X'D

I was terrified of James and the Giant Peach as a kid. It’s weird to hear this description of it. Even little kid me didn’t trust anything on screen (which tragically kept my life devoid of stop motion for years after).
