Thanks guys, for the review. I have been struggling over the thoughts of purchasing a robotic mower. I hire a lawn service to care for my lawn. I'm not sure which has more stress: fighting the weather, heat and cost doing it myself -or depending on a business that is here one day and out of business the next season. I'm an IT man by trade and very I'm difficult and demanding when it comes to expecting the best from technology. I mean seriously! We're in 2023 and we still can't get a 100% robotic lawnmower. Yet, Space-X can return a rocket back to its landing pad! Thanks again for the great information.

White plastic often becomes brittle after months in the sun. What UV protection is in the Luba mower? Also, are there replacement batteries or RTK modules available?

I have Luba on three acres it easily takes care of it all. some sections I have it doing twice a week and I would say it's resting on its base 80% of the time still. I have had Luba out 750 ft from the base station no problem! tomorrow I'm just going to start driving it down the street and see how far it goes because I'm curious now 😂

Just brought Mammotion Luba to mow a remote (parents) garden, have been using Bosch Indego, whilst it is ok, have cut the perimeter wire on a few occasions and it stopping at a slightest bump and it's inability to restrict areas without wire has caused many issues. Your reviews and others have given me confidence in this has been the right choice.

I typically my sprinklers out all the time on a schedule to water my small lawn. Would the luba be able to do over the hoses without breaking them?

Does the reference station need clear line-of-sight to the mower? What if it’s in the backward and the mower is in the front yard?

Great Video- I bought a Luba and I would point out that you can define any angle cut in 10deg increments. So diamond cut and everything in-between. Now I don't own a 450 EPOS but for me the 4WD was clutch. I have hills and ruts in my yard so I can say with confidence that it wouldn't do the job. Maybe their 435 might do the job but it is really expensive. Luba is out cutting right now for me.

The future looks exciting! I have my eye on the Yarbo robot as it has interchangeable head units. Initially it has mower, snow blower, and leaf blower head units with other head units teased for the future. I look forward to your review.

I have two of the wired 450x Automowers covering about 3 acres. Unfortunately the durability has proven not what I expected. Hoping to investigate the Luba option next year.

My luba is great when it works. Ive got it on about 6000m2 at the moment and it handles it no issue.

How does RTK works if you have a separate front and back yard, so you can cover only one of them with RTK? Is it possible to install two separate RTK transmitters on the different sides of the house?

Question on the RTK. Does it have to have line of sight to the mower or just stay within the distance specs of the unit?
Reason for the question is the RTK will not have line of sight on the far side of the house.

Which one of these would be best suited in a location near the sea. Alloy and plastic is preferable as metal components would be prone to rust.

i wonder if the luba have even wider cut if you remove the side guards underneath, they obstructed at least 2" of both sides.
