I see now my life from 15yo-25yo have been progressively not caring about the rest, stand up for myself, avoid big responsibilities and being self centered because of people who took advantage of me and a poor understanding of how everything works.

But from 25 onwards that attitude became the very problem and it just limited me and it's still the source of my underlying bitterness behind my fake smiles.

Been learning ever since how to open to the world again and to give more than to expect in order to have a good fulfilling life rather than just short term lame comfort while blaming the rest for my sadness.

I was to talking to god and I would always pray for him to give me meaning when forever I thought god didn’t want me to have meaning until I realized that god threw so many opportunities at me and I never took them, it’s my fault.

Hey I get this I was so miserable at a job I actually quit it before I had another one and I am a middle-aged woman and I submitted my resignation before I started interviewing for another job everybody was just so hateful I just couldn't take it anymore so I did it I resigned and it opened up an opportunity where I got a better position better pay and a beautiful environment you just got to be brave man

Meditating on it does nothing for me. I lie to myself somehow. The only way I can get the answer you’re talking about is prayer. God tells me what I don’t want to hear but need to. It’s amazing. Every time
