IGN News - PlayStation 4 Info on February 20th?

Nintendo plans to sell more Wii U:

Like clockwork, a Tweet, Facebook post and blog message just went up simultaneously -- posted by PlayStation -- mysteriously teasing "the future" of PlayStation. The date being teased? February 20th, 2013. What's being teased? We assume it's the PlayStation 4, but we don't know for sure.

Sony heard that everyone misses the old days on the first playstation, so they are looking back, and working on redoing all the games from ps1

I had a $500 PC from 2002 and spent about $200 every 5 years updating it, and still getting a way better gaming experience than a console can ever offer. Plus dont forget 3/4 of people who did get a $400-600 console in 2007 had to buy another $300 one or fix theirs for $150+ atleast once.

They just had a statement earlier this month saying they wanted to let Microsoft show their hand first... presumably so they could make last minute adjustments to things like bundles or pricing.

I love how people complain about the Wii U controller. I look at previous controllers (N64 controller... Wiimotes...), and right now Nintendo has made a decent one.

Nintendo made a smart move not hyping the Wii U too much. If Sony hypes people too much and not meet those expectations, well then, we can pretty much figure what would happen.
Sony: "We are happy to announce the Vita Slim! We are also happy to announce 2 new games for it; Playstation Battle Royale and Last of Us Portable!"

I'm an Xbox player and I'm excited for this. It just means that everyone will start to talk more about next-gen, which is great. I wish the fans of both consoles would just get along one day...

Sony was not suggesting they would let Microsoft reveal their hand first due to specs... The PS4 has been in design for 5-6 yrs now. It would be too late to make those kind of changes after Microsoft's reveal. The most they could change is pricing strategy, marketing, etc...

They could drop features... but it would be too late to add any or make any significant changes.

They said to make the controller more comfortable and lighter. But I'm betting after some time they will bring it back.

As a PC gamer you should no how far behind the current gen consoles are in terms of hardware. The only reason why all games run on the current gen so well is that the industry revolves around them. Dev companies have to limit their graphics so that they run well on the consoles.

actually they did not say that they will let microsoft go first, they said a comment that suggested they would, but seriously they never actually said,
'we are letting microsoft announce the next xbox before we announce the PS4'

Still can look foward to a ton of amazing games, GTA V, Bioshock Infinite, Last of Us, Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, GoW I can go on & On but 2013 gna be one of the best years for gaming

Just Bayonetta 2 is an exclusive. The brand is owned by Capcom and Capcom develop for every platform on the market. At the end of the day, who wants to play Bayonetta 2 must buy a Wii U or, knowing Capcom, wait some time for a re-release on other platforms.

Example: I invited 5 friends last time plus my brother. One brought a Wii with smash Bros brawl (bought big pizza too). We took turns and even if its not our turn, its very exiting seeing the gameplay, who will get the smashball, who gets KOd, and who does the victory scream while we all have great laughs.

Did you notice the lights that hit the triangle, square, and x were there colors green, pink, and blue, but when the circle came by a yellow light hits it. So for the Ps4 the red circle will be changed to a yellow circle.

I'm thinking the same thing. it's just too early to announced the PS4 and what was Sony saying like two weeks ago that they're going to let Microsoft announce their console first
