I generally like your content but in this instance you should be using either a rotary hammer drill with the appropriate diameter bit or a diamond core drill bit. Cheers

Generally I agree, but we got some of those Milwaukee Big Hawg holesaws and they do not give a damn dude, steel, concrete, brick the things are worth every penny.

Using a coring bit on a SDS Max rotor hammer. It has a pilot bit to keep everything aligned. Not sure if they make that size and they are expensive

This method works. Professional HVAC folks do it daily. Everyone is an expert now. Lol

Ever heard of a core drill? That’s what you need. You’ll be through that wall like a rat up a drainpipe. And the hole will be nice and neat.

Borrow small chipping gun or hammer drill chisel point bit will make short work on creating the hole.
