Thank you John for tackling the errors being made in the symptoms for parents to look for. However, my granddaughter, who is fifteen, had the rash and the extreme tiredness but was told by 111 that she had no significant symptoms and as a result is at school. She has been off her food for weeks. It’s very frustrating. I am a grand parent not a parent so the decision isn’t mine. Thank you for fir your constant support.

I live in California & I’m very concerned for all the people that have had to evacuate their homes! Those without a place to go are going to evacuation centers! They are packed inside & the horrendous air quality makes ventilation & being outside impossible! Many are elderly. In past there have been outbreaks of disease in these places.
The news has completely stopped talking about covid.

we have come to : "down to 30, 000 new cases a day". amazing. I remember when 100 seemed like a lot. And to all of those minimizing this virus, I am frightened by the lack of common sense. Dr. Campbell has said all along, protect people from this virus so that the hospitals are not overwhelmed and can treat the 'treatable". Why is that so hard to understand. Well I for one will continue masking and keeping social distance ... FOR OTHERS.

Thank you for your thoughts regarding the US west coast fires. At this time in Oregon, 5 Towns have been mostly destroyed, 5 deaths are know. Many more towns are on the verge of being destroyed. Air quality is very bad. We appreciate your thoughts. It will be some time before we have a total accounting of deaths and property loss. A combined area from nearly 40 fires would cover and 500 square mile area. This is just Oregon, California and Washington are being hit as well. Again thank you for the thoughts.

While official numbers may show Covid cases are decreasing, and rt.live shows that the spread is decreasing, one of the Covid symptom trackers I use went from a weekly report to a daily report and the other Covid symptom tracker I use shows cases in my region increasing.

I have this vague suspicion that the official numbers are somewhat inaccurate.

Thank you Dr. John, I live here in Hillsboro, OR the west side of Portland on the way toward our beautiful coast. The fires are from Ashland south end of OR to Portland, near Washington boarder. I have family and friends in CA and WA, we are all on fire. My life is spent tracking fires and if we are all safe. It’s hard to keep up with the evacuations and where people land in shelters. Today, there is not even a breeze outside my home. Not a leaf moving. It’s so eerie. The sky red to dark, holding smoke overhead. My eyes burn, hard to breathe. Many towns, home places burned to the ground. Raging winds over last few days, and no rain in sight. The videos of just Oregon fires are alarming.
