If two sims are soulmates, after rebirth they get an interaction called "reconnect with soulmate". It bring them back to full friendship and romance instantly and they get a special relationship label

You changing the colors of the ghosts made me think of an Inside Out-esque playthrough, where 5 ghosts (different emotions/personalities) live with a living Sim (their own version of Riley) and they all try to "help" Riley in their own way while having their personalities clash and create chaos. bart and ophelia were childhood friends who fell apart as they grew up and then when they both came back to town following the death of a mutual friend they reconnected. unfortunately, they reconnected when they both unexpectedly died at the friends funeral, held in that creepy old neighborhood house the kids would all break into when they were younger, and now they’re stuck together!

Imagine having a mini series where two people are childhood friends, they fall in love and live a good life together, but after they die and get reborn they find each other again but PLOT TWIST they are complete opposites. Can they still fall in love with them even though they are the complete opposite of them? Or was it a once in a lifetime thing?

this expansion pack awakened some story telling in me. i created a sim who is a ghost that died by laughter and she has running make up cause she was crying laughing lol. i have her "haunting" her now abandoned mansion which is the big busted up one in ravenwood. I deleted most of the furniture and she sleeps in her coffin... then i have another sim that i started before the pack release who is a writer. he worked hard to save the money to buy the abandoned mansion. but also he's a skeptic lmao. now he doesn't believe she is a ghost but they are going to fall in love and then i plan to have them get married while she is a ghost and then when he dies, i want them to both rebirth
