3 ghosts of the London Underground

The London Underground is not just a network of trains and tunnels; it's also home to countless ghost stories! In this video, we dive into three spine-chilling tales that might make you think twice about your next tube journey.

First, there's The Girl on the Train. Near Elephant and Castle on the Bakerloo Line, drivers often report seeing a young woman boarding the train. But she never seems to leave the carriage—what follows instead are mysterious running footsteps, tapping noises, and the eerie sound of doors slamming shut.

Next, we explore the legend of Amen Ra. A disused station called The British Museum, which closed in 1933, supposedly had a secret tunnel linking it to the Museum's Egyptian Room. Some say the spirit of Amen Ra, an Egyptian princess disturbed from her rest, roams the platforms of Covent Garden and Holborn, screaming in anger.

Finally, there's the haunting at Kennington Loop. When the trains are empty of passengers, drivers sometimes hear the doors slamming shut, echoing through the carriages. It's believed to be the ghost of a former Underground worker, tragically electrocuted in the 1950s, who continues to haunt the trains.

If there were actually ghosts TFL would figure out a way to give them a penalty fare

The Egyptian story sounds exactly like a certain episode of Underground Ernie (a British kids show based on the tube)

Biggest false news or true, engineering hours LUL 10.30pm to 6.00am, update or maintenance work will go on. A lot of workers making sounds, it is not the ghost. I m in same job between 2009 to 2012
