Is there a way to have unbilled costs that vary each month automatically charged to a card on a sales receipt?

The deposit to is not showing up once I select CC for payment. It show if cash is selected.

What if the amount charged to the customer will differ ever month? For example this month it's $8 but next month $10. In that case how can we set the recurring transaction for every month? Do we need to manually change the amount every month before the payment is deducted from the customer's credit card?

But after you set this up lets say today is the 15th and you set the recurring date to be the 10th of every month. Clearly the 10th already passed, but we need to collect payment today, how do we tell QBO to process the payment?
