In this episode we take a journey to the outer edges of being compassionate and empathic. We are joined by a couple of psychologists, Brendon Murphy (Ireland) and Stan Stan Steindl (Australia) to discuss what the relationship to compassion and empathy have to do with experiences like burnout and therapist shame. We are joined by some of the participants in the discussion on the practical side of things involved with looking after one's own needs to avoid becoming fatigued by caring too much.
