More jump training and more throw specific training would be awesome! Would be interesting to explore upper body plyometrics, if there is such a thing. EX: What concepts from lower body power/jump/plyometrics training could be transferred to someone whos trying to throw harder. Could plyos be done in a horizontal plane for throwing.

What kind of goals are there for a weightlifter in jumps? For example box jump is a common practice method. What kind of movement are you aiming for? Dip and full body maximum power jump with arm swing to get on top of the box as fast as possible? Using only legs and having straight legs during the airtime? Jumping as high vertically as possible? I.e. what is the goal of an exercise like box jump and how to best facilitate the training effect, what's the ideal technique? What would a grappler's jump training look like? I.e. how much, what kind of exercises?

Currently doing weightlifting as a strength component, what simple plyos would you recommend for a plyometric session?

You don't need all those Youtube Videos abou jumping.
Just read the vertical jump Bible 2 by Kelly Bagget. Old but still the best when I comes how to improve one's vertical jump!

Question: Do isometric holds (like trying to push a barbell into safety pins from below) are going to improve tendon strength for the purpose of being able to store more energy in the tendons?

I'd be really curious about what you think about kadour ziani, arguably the best dunker ever in terms of ability vs height and very unorthodox but well documented training methods, incredible longevity

Would be interested to see some sort of breakdown on Zion Williamson although I’m not sure much training footage exists. You mentioned that mass is majorly important for jumping and I’m super curious to see a rationale for how he can do what he does at 285lbs with arguably bad walking mechanics

Presumably this jump training would be beneficial for Judo as well?

I would think it would have greatest transferability for Judo techniques that involve a kind of modified jump?
