The way that Ryan Smiled at the director being slapped, and Butcher smiling at the scientist being held captive was GREAT WRITING

I would like the Virus to depower Homelander rather than kill him, it would be satisfying to see him without his abilities and reduced to a normal human being.

“This man is in no condition to f**k a sheep”. Best line in the episode.

Brit here, with a small translation…

When Butcher said ‘He looks good in a whistle’ it was a sprinkling of Cockney Rhyming Slang traditionally spoken by East Londoners.

A ‘whistle & flute’ in rhyming slang means ‘Suit’

So essentially, Butcher said ‘He looks good in a suit’

24:24 I'm 99% certain Samir gave a concerned side eye when Butcher said "we", further confirming Joe Kessler is figment of Butcher's imagination

Fun fact: the Native American crying man, Iron Eyes Cody, was in fact Espera Oscar Corti, a Sicilian actor. Folks didn’t find this out until after he passed

I think this episode confirms that Joe Kessler is the evil voice of the parasite

You forgot about in the last scene with the doctor with the severed leg, the way the doctor looked in Jeffery Dean Morgan's direction (but not exactly) questioningly, as if he wasn't there. Kessler is definitely a hallucination brought on if not a manifestation of Butcher's tumor.

Hughie probably holds on to things because his mother abandoned him. In this way he tries to hold on so they won't leave him. Is probably why he keeps forgiving Butcher. Butcher's like a Older Brother/Father figure to him. He can't let go but with him putting his dad down maybe we will see a difference in Hughie and how he deals with others.

I thought the “12 minute sequence in pitch black” line was a subtle dig at Game of Thrones and the battle of Winterfell, seeing as nobody could tell what was going on during most of that episode.

Minka Kelly is an American Actress. She was a star in the TV show Friday Night Lights, played Dawn Granger on Titans, and was on Euphoria. It isn’t about Megyn Kelly.

Simon Pegg was amazing in this. What an actor. He's had some amazing performances in his time but this episode ... It was special.

When Simon Peggs character dies at the end I cried and yelled at my TV “No! You still have to kick A-Train’s head off!” 😭🤣

Butcher calling kimiko a weapon is also a dig at Wolverine since they share the same powers

Also, when Neumann was shown Samirs severed leg, it was a clean cut. If the Vsheep had done it (as was insinuated) it would have been much more mangled, giving us a clue that a human had done it. Great detail

I'm starting to think that Butcher let those sheeps in somehow and took advantage of the chaos to nick the doctor. That's a super risky gamble.

Everyone misses that Vaught doesn't let the black heroes announce the black initiative further silencing and using the black heroes.

Also found it really interesting that during the "Black At It" Scene they just like, didn't let A-Train talk at all.

I think another tidbit was when Hughie's dad called Hughie as "wee Hughie" because in the comics the character of Hughie is referred to as wee Hughie and was modelled after Simon Pegg.
