So nice I watched it twice.

Sage didn't tell Homelander that he couldn't defeat himself, just that there's one person he can't defeat. I don't know that Sage is one to speak so allegorically. She quite literally instructs The Deep to lobotomize and stab her. My guess? Ryan or Solider Boy? Maybe even Neuman?

Sage had already said she found the cure for cancer when she was just a child to save her grandmother but nobody believed her and I bet Sage is going to be the one who cures butcher from his tumor. She's going to help the boys because homelander is going to try to kill her

“Like Caesar” who was killed by his rumored son Brutus, it seems Ryan will kill Homelander. Unless he has another son..or clone…did Noir say “they let me fly”? If so that might be a hint he is a modified Homelander clone or at least an homage to it in the comics

Willing to bet the shot of Firecracker shooting someone we don’t recognise in Vought Tower, is her (and the rest of the 7) killing all non Supes that are stationed within the Tower. Likely at Homelander’s instruction, so that it can become like a 100% Supe HQ.

Essentially creating a base of operations for S5 of the show.

Sage absolutely is still having everything happen according to a plan, she left the book there on purpose for someone to pick it up and THINK she has an idea in there but really it’s to prod them in the right direction for her benefit… whatever that may be at this point
