He was smart to go ahead and copy the kid's voice rather than trying to teach the kid to talk the way he wanted him to. And so we learn a little bit about the source of such an iconic character as Forrest Gump. Good work, Hanks!

(So were all the characters in the movie, Sally Fields, Robin Wright, etc.!)I’ve watched this movie so many times, it brings back so many memories with my children, it still totally touches my heart, makes me laugh, makes me cry, and makes me wish everyone could see the world through Forrest’s innocent and honest eyes!
