Kemet is a 2-5 player Area Control, aggressive, points based, war game where players are rushing to be the first player to start their turn with 9 or more victory points, the first player to do so brings glory to their ancient divinity, while the others will left to suffer in defeat!

Blood and Sand is the second edition of this classic area control war game and in this video I am going to compare 1st and second edition! Hopefully this will let you know if this is worth the upgrade for you!

"In Kemet, players each deploy the troops of an Egyptian tribe and use the mystical powers of the gods of ancient Egypt – along with their powerful armies – to score points in glorious battles or through invasion of rich territories. A game is typically played to 8 or 10 victory points, which may be accrued through winning attacks, controlling temples, controlling fully-developed pyramids, sacrificing to the gods, and wielding particular magical powers.

The conquest for the land of Kemet takes place over two phases: Day and Night. During the day, choose an action amongst the nine possible choices provided by your player mat and perform it immediately. Once every player has taken five actions, night falls, with players gathering Prayer Points from their temples, drawing Divine Intervention cards, and determining the turn order before the start of the new day.

As the game progresses, they can use Prayer Points to acquire power tiles. Some of these enroll magical creatures and have them join their troops. In addition to intimidating enemies, these creatures provide special powers!

Detailed miniature components represent the combat units and the supernatural creatures that are summoned to enhance them. Combat is resolved through cards chosen from a diminishing six-card hand and enhanced by bonuses."

"That's gonna be nuts; that's gonna be crazy; oooh that's going to be so awesome." Loved this line!

At 2 players variant,
We play to roll one out which means 3/4 color tiles. Getting 2 out there is no strategy just grabbing. And when u get just one out game just slightly modifies, and still makes new games a little bit diffrent.
Then by rules
Theen first player constract the pyramid [ussualy lvl2 and lvl1], then second.
Then last player gets free lvl1 tile, then first.

I think it is indicative that the rule book and end game have in fact not been cleaned up as you appear to have misunderstood the game end/victory conditions. You don't have to have more FP than anyone else at the start of your turn to win, you just have to have 9 and no one else have more. The end game in Blood and Sand is a bit of a mess as written, devolving into an overly long game of Munchkin; I would strongly recommend using the game end conditions from the Ta-Seti expansion.

I can see that you do invest in your equipment, the camera crispiness is fantastic. And the tone/voice is very nice to follow :) keep up the great work sir

With the Ta-Seti expansion that added the black pyramid, You were never forced to commit to three colors unless you choose three level 1 pyramids. You always had the option to choose one level 2 and one level 1 pyramid with no commitment on the third color. With just the base game you were locked to Red, Blue and White. There is also a subtle rule change with purchasing power tiles between blood and sand and Ta-Seti. In Ta-Seti if you clamed the fourth color pyramid from you opponent you could purchase one power tile of each color each Day Phase or 4 power tiles total in a Day Phase. In Blood and sand you can only ever buy three power tiles in a Day Phase. "3.4.2 Note: If you buy a Power tile and you do not have the corresponding color token on your Individual board, you must place your Action token on any available «Buy a Power Tile token» space on your Individual board (including an «empty» box)."

The dices as piramids were awful for colorblind people like me, the new version is way better and easier to tell the levels apart.
