For one that is like Becky Chambers, I HIGHLY recommend Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki 🌠 A quiet sci-fi that is queer and character-focused, and is compared to The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet a lot.

An amazing book that feels like a hallucination is Untold Night and Day by Bae Suah. You just never know what's actually happening or if characters are dreaming. My favorite book of 2021!
