Removing the back on the samsung galaxy s5 can be tricky at first. On the side of the device there should be a small crease that you can stick your finger nail into to pry it open. Be gentle taking it off so you don't crack the back. Once its off inserting or removing the battery is fairly easy and putting the back on is easy as well. Gently press down the backing to get it back on your galaxy s5.

Thank you very much my phone hasn't been turning on at all for the past few days the light was green but it would not turn on at all and the buttons didn't work either, removing the battery and putting it back in fixed the issue
