Nothing wrong with changing career paths after finding something else that you really enjoy! I'm in a similar boat, just dropped out of my last year of chemical engineering to transition into electrical engineering and IT! The transition is gonna set me back a year, but I think I'm gonna thank myself in the future. Even though chemical engineering is a great degree, it's refreshing to see so many new doors open up after making the switch.

I am also at a very similar stage as yours where I am also studying Chem Engg and transitioning to Software based jobs, I have tried Web dev and am currently working on DSA & CP cause they are giving me a lot of trouble! Happy to see someone who is at the same phase as mine and constantly learning is the key!

Still waiting for your explanation on why you change to study another profession. at the time when I was looking for information about chemical engineering and why to study it and what it is in general, your channel really helped me. and suddenly when I found out that you started to study another field I had a kind of crisis, because my instructor who made me start to connect with studies of chemical engineering, in the end changes profession. you could just explain the reason for the change in a video or comment, for my peace of mind😅
