We have cell B4 formatted as a percentage. However, the cell formatting shouldn't change the actual value, just the way it is displayed in the cell. If you check the formula bar, it should display the exact value. You may also want to make sure that you're entering the PMT formula exactly the way it is in the video. Hope this helps!

I like the clarity of this demonstration, however using the Rate function seems to be a more logical way to calculate the rate. If I understand this right, What-if analysis is not needed for our purpose. If so, 'd rather see a more relevant example as an illustration.

Not being funny-that's a long winded way...just use goal seek to get same result
