This whole court scenario is the perfect metaphor for American politics lol. It's always one party or the other saying "We don't want censorship!!" and then immediately censoring everything that does not align with their "values".

The fact that Jason got pulled into court over "not protecting children" is dumb as all hell. Discord is *mhhm* a 13+ app at minimum, and most servers have an 18+ age requirement.

No use dragging the CEO telling him to take better care of the kids. It's also the parents responsibility as always to keep them safe from the internet.

KOSA is a huge threat to children who are queer or questioning, and anyone in an abusive home. If you cannot find examples of abuse outside of your own life, you are far less likely to realize it's happening, and if you are questioning and don't have safe resources, you're more likely to end up falling into the wrong circles. first hand experience unfortunately.

Senate Judiciary Committee is not the Supreme Court, nor a federal court. It is a congressional committee who does have the power to issue subpoenas for congressional function, not enforcement of law.

the new UI has been fully enforced on mobile
people who had used a little inspect element command from github to revert the mobile UI to the old one have now been forced into the new UI due to discord pushing a new experiment
people who also hadn't updated discord seem to have had it forcefully updated despite not allowing it through google play
