You need to buy a press to compress your sawdust into firebricks. They burn hotter, longer, and cleaner. Mostly, it's another source of income for something you already deal with.

Many places around here, use a modified " plastic" bundler...it takes a day, at least, to dry your wood, b 4 using Great job " lumber 👍🐺🧙‍♂️🐺👍

. . . plus, the netting, when it ends up in the ocean, will not only damage marine plant life, but also trap the smaller fish that bigger netting cannot. So yeah, it's win on a larger scale. <-- pun intended

We had this issue with our palletized wood that came out of the kiln. It would stay for a while, but the plastic wrap would trap the moisture and create mold, even with the wood kept out of the weather and moisture. We do not sell to the stores but just palletized wood for the brick oven pizzerias in NYC, and the Jewish communities to make motzah.

I use netting because the plastic only suffocates instead of choking or cutting off the blood flow of unsuspecting animals.
