Cosmetologist/esthetician here! It’s actually beneficial for all hair types to double Cleanse your hair. Oily hair types should only be washing two times a week to not over strip the hair but double washes are supposed to be the way everyone washes their hair

Just a reminder to everyone (from my hairstylist):
If you wash your hair every day you do NOT need to double wash. Your hair isn’t exactly dirty so you only need to wash it once to clean it. But if you do shower every 2-7 days then yes you NEED to double wash. It will help prevent dirt and oils in your hair.

Reminder: you do not have to listen to everything you see online! Use the things that work for your hair and your hair only! Some products don’t work well for hair types!, and might cause hair falling out, etc ❤❤❤

Hi hairdresser here .. its good to wash hair twice regarding thick or thin hair . Just if u blonde please wash with regular shampoo 1st then 2nd with purple/toning shampoo .. because purple shampoo supposed to toning your hair not cleanse:) hope it help
