1, 773 people! It wasn't a particularly deadly disaster.
The 3 deadliest, all took place in the Baltic Sea. 10, 540 people, 7, 862 people and 7, 230 people. And that was with combined hospital and refugee ships. Mostly women and children and some wounded soldiers.
