the drinking water is one of the best controlled "food" in germany. in general the water is not chlorized and the simple water in your house has foodquality. the bottled sparklingwater has also foodquality, so it´s common to drink a lot of water. in public the water without foodquality has to be signed "no drinking water"...

Das mit dem Durchzug musst du schon richtig erklären. Es geht ja darum, dass wenn zwei sich gegenüberliegende Fenster offen sind ein Luftzug entsteht. Wie in einem Tunnel z.B. Wenn du dich in dem längere Zeit aufhältst kannst du davon auf verschiedene Arten Krank werden.

yeah sparkling water is not dangerous but since you are indirect drinking gas (carbonic acid) you can feel bloated or have to burp a lot :D

''Ja, bitte!'' und ''Nein, danke!'' Daher kommt die Verknüpfung. Eben nur verkürzt.
It is pretty easy:
''Yes, please!'' and ''No, thanks!'' That's the connection. Just shortened those two.

I never drink sparkling water and here you would say "ja bitte" and "nein danke". saying only bitte and danke is not enough to convey anything, you would ask the person again what they mean by that. the apartment I rent comes with a kitchen and I always eat hot food in the evening. I guess things are different in your state

I do not understand people who wanna get naked in public.. like what is that about?? German beaches, Scandinavian saunas, or even Spanish 'topless' beaches. Swimming naked might be fun, yeah when you are absolutely alone.. like in the sticks LOL
