My father was 48 when I was born. He was so funny and a great story teller. Generous and whip smart. A magical person to be around. A small man, but larger than life. Everyone said that I looked just like my mom, but I was all dad inside.

He started having major medical issues when I was in high school, a massive stroke when I was a senior. He passed away 3 weeks before I graduated college, 6 weeks before my wedding. I have grieved him every day for the last 18 years. It's like part of me was amputated.
