Finally someone who gives a fair assessment of 4. I personally rank exclusively the Shreks from Best to Worst as 2, 4, 1, 3. Something about 4 I just really like and give it a slight edge over Shrek 1. Now, I don't agree with people who think 4 is mid, but I'll accept it as an answer. But when people call it bad, let alone WORSE than 3, that's when I get politically active.

Am I the only one who actually liked Shrek 3? Maybe I just liked Arty in middle school though lol, but I liked the princesses being hot messes, Shrek panicking over being a dad, Donkey being a dad, I enjoyed it. It's not as good as others in the series, but I didnt dislike it at all

Shrek 2 was peak Shrek. It is a rare occasion when the sequel is better than the original. Everything after Shrek 2 was just a cash cow with no thought put into it.
