The Best DreamWorks Animation Movies Ranked (According to Rotten Tomatoes) shows the timeline of highest grossing DreamWorks Animation movies as well as the best movies rankings from the year 1998 to 2023. In this video, the list ranks all the DreamWorks Animation movies from Antz (1998) to the latest Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) using the comparison Bar Chart Race graph. It is a visual representation of data which highlights the best DreamWorks movies. Note that the number represents the worldwide Box-office gross in dollars and the list is not adjusted for inflation.

DreamWorks Animation LLC (also simply known as #DreamWorks) is an American animation studio that produces animated films and television programs and is a subsidiary of Universal Pictures, a division of NBCUniversal, which is itself a division of Comcast. The studio has released 41 feature films as of July 2021, including several of the highest-grossing animated films of all time, with Shrek 2 (2004) having been the highest at the time of its release. The studio's first film, Antz, was released on October 2, 1998 and its latest film was #PussInBootsTheLastWish , which was released on December 21, 2022.

Formed as a division of DreamWorks Pictures in 1994 with alumni from Amblin Entertainment's former animation branch Amblimation, it was spun off into a separate company in 2004. NBCUniversal acquired DreamWorks Animation at a cost of $3.8 billion in 2016. The studio originally made some traditionally animated films, as well as two stop-motion co-productions with Aardman Animations, but now exclusively relies on computer animation. Its productions, including The Prince of Egypt, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and the Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon franchises, have received several accolades, including three Academy Awards, 41 Emmy Awards, numerous Annie Awards, and multiple Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations.

Films produced by #DreamworksAnimation were originally distributed by DreamWorks Pictures until 2005, which was then taken over by Paramount Pictures in 2006 until 2012. 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) became the third distributor in 2013 and held the position until 2017. Universal Pictures became the fourth and final distributor and holds the position since 2019, as well as owning most of the rights to its back catalogue.

Prince of Egypt having only a 79% on rotten tomatoes shows how inaccurate the site can be

Rise of the Guardians was one of the best movies ive seen. Easter bunny was great, Liked what they did with the Tooth Fairy. What the did with Santa was GREAT. Such a shame it didnt get a sequel or ANYTHING else. My older bro had a GREAT idea for a sequel and its pretty much GENIUS

Prince of Egypt getting less than 90% on RT is genuinely upsetting because I think it’s one of the best movies ever made.

Gotta say, HTTYD and Kung Fu Panda are my top animated films of all times, including every sequel, they're brilliant. Than there's Madagascar and Penguins (mostly TV series) which is hilarious every time I watch it, even though not the smartest. Shreks are classic, there's nothing anyone can say, they shaped the era, people are going back to those films more than they'd probably admit. From one-part only I'm a big fan of the hero-villan twist in Megamind and I absolutely love The Rise of the Guardians. Even though people disregard Baby Boss, I laughed as hell in that film. Croods are pretty fantastic, it's a fancy way to tell a universal family story, really. Home isn't as bad as rotten tomatoes says for sure. And definitely Road to Eldorado deserves a bit more points, although it might be a bit chaotic in things it wants to deliver, there's the pretty nice trope of camaraderie in prospect of a fortune and power, it definitely has some depth. I must admit - I love Dreamworks.

I remember when i was a kid and got HTTYD dvd. I had a dvd player in my room… i watched that movie like 4 times in a single day (while playing with Legos i think). That day and that movie are engraved in my memory as one of those few perfect days of only joy and happiness.
