I just got out of a funk yesterday and I’m feeling really good and confident again, I just struggle with being consistent with this type of energy

Some days are diamond, and some days are stone. I know when the down times come, that making it a great day or not is up to me. Things in life will get us down, but they will not stay around forever. Each day is a new beginning so don't waste it.

I had been in an abusive relationship for 3years with a narcissist. I came across your videos few years back and I recognised the signs and also tried leaving him but he kept manipulating me.
Last year I left him and have moved on with my life. It wasn't easy but here I am, a happier person now.
❤️Thank you so very much for everything❤️
I will always be grateful to you.🥺❤️

I am a known "moody" person... i get into moods out of nowhere, usually I feel sad or insecure, which makes me irritable. I'm so jealous of people like my mom who seem to be always in a good mood, unwavered by anything.. However, I have noticed when I say "I am not my emotions" out loud, it almost immediately frees me. Sometimes I'm stubborn and I go "no, i want to pout and be mad right now" which is what I'm working on really beating... but more often than not these days I've found a good, solid way of getting out of my moods.

Leaning how to process emotions was a great influence on affecting the both the quality and
quantity of getting in a funk in the early days of recovery, and has become
pillar in this self-discovery.   By identifying our core feelings sad, glad, and and scared, we are able to create an obvious entry point to identify our emotions.

I really need to detach out of this sadness of my mom dying 3 weeks ago. I have so much to do in selling her furniture and cleaning out her condo by the end of the month, making calls regarding her bills, and still being a mom of 3 and wife. I'm surprised at the sadness taking hold like this. Every waking second it's on my mind. I can disengage when watching a funny show, but the gfief seems to have a heavy weight on my chest and makes it hard to get up to do anything.

I've been going through a cycle of being stuck and helpless lately and I totally agree that your ego will keep you trapped in a self-victimizing story. It's hard to change the narrative but it's necessary in order to change the outcome. Still trying to learn this now but thank you for this video and anyone out there who is struggling please be extra kind to yourself. It's super easy to spiral out of control and feel lost but you can overcome this <3

After calmly requesting something from my husband..his reply was in the negative with harsh words..at about that time your segment popped up!!
Perfect timing!! Yes..I can and will follow your suggestions. Thank you so much for all you do!

I really do not like that term "fake it till you make it" I believe it goes against everything she just said.

Even if you're doing it the way she told you to it's still being fake and dishonest with yourself. If you're doing it for a reason, do it for the reason not because you need to trick yourself into thinking something.
