thank you so much for making this video! Its my birthday tomorrow and i got to sleep, but then i woke up and I've been trying to get back to sleep for about 3-4 hours and ive just been awake but asleep

Do you have any advice for when your mind wont slow down? My brain creates imaginary problems that I feel like i have to solve mentally - weird things like folding washing or something. I have to remind myself it's not real and doesnt need to be done! I find the only way to silence it is to pkay a podcast or youtube episode of people talking. Do you have any tips on how to address or improve this?

I'm witnessing a real contradiction here: most sleep theory tells me to get out of bed if I'm awake for more than 15 minutes, because you don't want to train your brain/nervous system/body to be awake in bed... you always want the body to know that it is sleep time when you lay in bed; bed is for sleeping only. So now the dilemma... which of these datums are correct... stay in bed/get out of bed?
