Choosing the best miter saw in 2024 involves understanding features like blade size, portability, power, and cutting capacity. Standard blade sizes cater to different needs, with smaller blades offering portability and precision, while larger blades handle tougher materials. Sliding miter saws provide extended reach for wider cuts, though non-sliding models are lighter and more affordable for simpler jobs. Corded saws deliver consistent power, but advancements in cordless technology make battery-powered models viable for demanding tasks. Join us as we will help you choose the best miter saw catered to your needs and tasks!

Good video. I'm curious about which saw is "quietest" as I know most if not all of these are direct drive. Some are brushed and some are brushless. Based on that, I'm curious of the dB level. Working in a garage with suburban neighbors I try to get the "quietest" tools. For example I sold my job site table saw for a cabinet table saw mostly because it's belt driven rather than direct drive. Huge noise difference😊

I was gong to buy the DeWalt corded 780 not the cheaper 779 shown until I saw the Hercules 12” equivalent and IMO since this is a “best saw” video this should be on the list rather than DeWalt. Same saw for 1/2 the money been using for several years and I am very impressed with quality, accuracy and performance.

I've been looking at the Delta Cruzer. Because I have limited space. What are your thoughts?

I was looking at getting the Milwaukee 10” saw but I’m hearing a lot about unfixable alignment issues causing it to be unreliable for anything other than framing work. Have you heard anything along those lines?

I’m looking for a good DIY miter saw and would like reliably precise cuts and am already invested in Milwaukee’s battery line. I’m trying to stick to one brand but if it’s not reliable then I’ll have to jump into a second brand.

The Bosch Axial glide is not nearly a decade old its more then a decade old. At least the 12" model was launched in early January 2011 which is 14 years ago a month from now.

Would love that Bosch Dual-Bevel Axial Glide Miter Saw, but having a hard time to come up with a reason to convince the wife.

This dude just said:

Miter saws are the best type of saws for miter cuts

Battery powered saws are more portable

Thicker blades flex less.

Bigger blades can make deeper cuts.

That's the whole video.

I've seen price tags with more useful information.

Milwaukee 10” compound cut to the right dose not work to full sliding cut. I can’t see no one on internet about this issue. I learn the hard way after purchase. Ohh and Milwaukee mitre saws dose not come with led shadow light on Europe market
