How not to remove a Predator 212cc Governor

Today I show you how to remove the governor from a Predator 212cc engine. It is simple and should be similar on a predator 420cc and honda gx160 engine or similar engines.

One of the best mods you can do to the engine. And its free. And my Go kart flies!!

PS.... I did not cover too much in detail but the video should still help. The (first hole) on top you can thread it and sink a bolt in. Or find a random bolt and weld it in like I did. I used an M6* 1.50

For the Second hole I Used an M10 * 1.0 bolt, loctited it in and welded the nut just to make sure.

I did not mention it because I put a whole new carburetor on the engine.

*I used red regular gasket maker from walmart.

There is a washer on the governor shaft that appears to have fallen into the engine when you removed it. There is also a washer under that white part you pulled from the gov. gear, it can fall out if left in place.

@Vasily builds. So on the 224 with a governor on I was able to get my mini bike to 42mph I just watched a video of someone taking theirs off and when the same speed. In your opinion what's the point bud?

When you add the mikuni carb does it stop the governor from working? or do i still have to do this?

I took that govenor pin out cut it then put it back in leaving the linkages and took the govenor out.left the oil sensor in there just incase I needed to return it for warranty purposes. (They will never know)

I have a predator 212 with a stage 1 kit I remove only the governor after an hour or two of riding it shuts off and have to wait like 5 minutes to cool down and it'll turn back on you think I would have to remove the governor sensor

my cam fell out and these 2 longs things thats right next to the cam fall down i put them back and and lines my cam up and put the caseing back on and my bike is feeling easy to pull then it sound like it has low compression by the way its a new 212 any suggestion????
