The backrooms is a very popular phenomena which originated from a 4 chan thread. Over the years these liminal space photos became very popular in the dream core community which lead to people associate these images with the backrooms. In 2020 Kane Pixel would popularize the backrooms by creating his iconic Backrooms found footage series. In todays videos we talk about the origins of these backrooms photos.

There's so much creativity on the internet, it's amazing! The fact that liminal spaces have no windows, that they're closed rooms put us ill at ease (claustrophobia).

And then there are the contemporary artists who are struggling to sell their junk for hundreds of thousands of dollars at Art Basel or at FIAC in Paris, and they are no match for them... I prefer a million times a backroom pic to a de Kooning painting or a banana stuck on an white frame (Cattelan)....
