I miss Prince. He was my neighbor, I lived walking distance from his studio. Any time you saw the purple lights on at his studio, that was a signal that the public could come attend an ad hoc show. This happened on a monthly and sometimes weekly/daily basis. He used to order pancakes for all the guests.

Nah… you’re not off your game … there’s just only one Prince…. He was an amazingly gifted musician 🥰

I was actually the manager at Webster Hall at that time. I remember the show well it was a record release party. It was actually a very tiny invited crowd of backup dancers, tour people, and such, the rest were all record execs like Ron Perry, Tommy Mottola, and artists like Stevie Wonder and many others. The stage was brought out and made smaller for the intimate show which is why he was so playful with the crowd of friends. The music was great that night, One of a thousand amazing shows over my tenure there that I will never forget.

I could talk for days about Prince, but simply he is a musical genius and way beyond anyone else in my opinion he has his own category where only he reigns

Prince never gets as much clout for his guitar skills as he deserves. Guitar players know how good he was, but the general public usually doesn't. They just think of him as a singer/songwriter. Great video!!!

Prince is the number 1 artist I wish I could have seen live. Absolute goat

He’s probably the best all around musician, lyricist, vocalist, producer, entertainer, enigma to ever live. Keys, strings, percussion, etc. He could do it all better than just about anyone! He will always be on my Mount Rushmore of iconic entertainers! ❤

Don’t care what anyone says, Prince was a monster guitarist. Proficient in so many styles of music.

Prince was the greatest entertainer I've ever seen, without question.

I’ve seen so many performers and bands in concert during my life, and one of the very few regrets I have on that front is I never saw Prince live and I’m old enough that I definitely had opportunities. He is one of the rarest talents because he is so multifaceted. What a treasure.

What Prince used to play as an after thought takes everybody else forever to figure out.

My favorite Prince story is he was going to do half time Super Bowl show but it was pouring rain. They called him to ask what he wanted to do and he said, “Can you make it rain harder?”

Prince was the complete package. A modern day Mozart

Excellent stuff, from you and Prince, who was, in many ways, our Mozart. His like will not be seen again anytime soon.
