2 yrs ago I gave up cable tv. started watching youtube. you were one of the first channels I started watching. I look forward to your vids every week. It's a solid in my routine. Dont know how ya do it, but hey, God has blessed you and yours with time with the kids and wife, doing something I believe you truly enjoy. God is good and HE provides wealth to HIS kids. Am glad to see ya stepping out in faith. Stay true and HE will take care of all ya'll.

You will do great! Your videos remind me of being Ralphie’s age working on our cars just to keep them running! I told my daughters these stories. Today I took my oldest (24) to get her oil changed (no where to do it myself) and I decided to replace her wiper blades myself. After about an hour we finally figured it out. She then said “Maybe you worked on cars so much because you were doing it wrong and took you so much more time.” I think she is on to something! But I got to spend all morning with her so I don’t care if I am not a good mechanic. Enjoy your extra time with those great kids and wife, I wish I would have done it!

People are drawn to wholesome content and you and your family provide that consistantly. Happy for you.

Watching this video on the last day of 2023 makes my heart melt. This is one of my favorite channels. I'm probably an oddity because I am a girl that watches this channel religiously. It's so amazing to watch the whole family! Wife, kids dogs, cats, goats, it's a little bit of everything for everybody. 🙌🏻 I ❤️ this

I've been a youtube junkie for a few years now, and have seen several of the channels I subscribe to prosper and grow. One thing you all have in common is hard work. As a small business owner myself, I love to see people succeed through their hard work and commitment. Part of the magic of your channel is that your beautiful family is involved in it, and you clearly have their support. Congratulations, and I wish you continued success. P.S., I loved Rocky's commentary.

I love your family and your videos.
They bring back a lot of memories from my childhood (I'm 60 years old now). My father was very talented like you. He was always working on vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles). He would even make his own parts to build things. One year he turned a two wheel dirt bike into a three wheel dirt bike that he could convert back and forth to either a two wheel or a three wheel. Another year he built from scratch an entire camper for the back of an old (1950-60's) pickup. It had everything, working pump sink, ice chilled refrigerator, table converts to bed, a full size bed over cab... Etc. Around the age of 11 he purchased me my first dirt bike. He began teaching me how to tear it down, do maintenance, repairs and put it back together. As far back as I can remember, when ever possible, I was at his side. He was always teaching me something. What the name of a tool was, or how something worked. I was his gopher and his assistant (handing him tools etc.)
Then the unfortunate happened. When I was 12 years old he was killed in a traffic accident by a drunk driver. My training may have ended but a lot of that knowledge stuck with me.

Life is short. I strongly believe you are doing the right thing. In the interview at the end of this video, your oldest daughter said that she hoped that she will get to spend more time with you. I hope she does. I was the oldest daughter of three girls, and very fortunate (in the early 70's) that my father didn't see me as just a daughter but as his child that he could teach no matter my gender.
All of your children are so blessed to have you. They all are going to benefit from having you home.
Keep up the great work and I look forward to more of your videos! 😀

Congratulations to you! I just recently found your channel and love the videos. You have a wonderful family. I'm sure this change will be a good one for all of you. I worked full time for years as a single mom and missed out on a lot of time with my children. We all make decisions at some point in our lives that are a little scary but mostly they work out. I quit my very stable job in healthcare in 2013 to become an independent consultant. It allowed me to go and work/live in multiple states for 8 years. I was 60 years old when I made that change and have never regretted it. I finally retired in March of this year. Now I'm getting ready to do some car camping and road trips with my dog!

I do wanna tell you that it took guts to walk away from a job with that kind of pay. Especially with a family to support. For perspective, I'm a metal fabricator in PA and I make approximately 86K a year and I couldn't imagine walking away from my job to do something like YouTube which comes with zero guarantees. I don't have any kids either so there's that. You got guts and I hope this goes good for you. You have a nice family and a good channel that's only gonna grow bigger and bigger if you keep going the way you've been.

Make Rocky a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I'd make him one but I'd eat it on my way down there.

You will do great! I went from working 2 and 3 jobs for years missing things with my kids destroyed a marriage trying to stack that 💰. I finally went to just staying home and Flipping cars and it was the best decision I ever made. You have a great family to have your back that's key. Head up brother 🙏💪🙌💯 Just put it in Gods hands and everything will fall into place.

Watching y'all's channel warms my heart. It's so refreshing to see a family that so obviously loves spending time together. As a dog lover, the fact that all your animals are part of your family is just the icing on the cake! Best of luck in this "new" only thing y'all need to do from this point forward is to kick *ss and take names!! :)

I'm a retired body man / mechanic / electrician watching you do your work in the shop I could tell you really know your stuff you will have no problem returning to the workforce if you ever have to. YouTube channel is fantastic the way you and the family get along and work together it's something you really don't see too much today and that's fantastic I love the way the animals get involved and as a fellow Christian I'll be praying for you and I wish you and your family the best of luck

I'll definitely continue to watch, I love the save the abandoned vehicle approach to your videos. There are a lot of people rebuilding newer vehicles, your channel gives lots of older watchers a view back into our pasts with your choice of rebuilds. Congrats and best wishes.
