Boba Fett & Din Djarin vs Pykes [4K HDR] - The Book of Boba Fett

Boba Fett and Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), battle on the streets of Mos Espa against the Pyke Syndicate with all of their might, as seen in the 4K HDR fil cut, "The Book of Boba Fett - The Hardcover Edition".

A new editing project where we recut the entirely of Star Wars The Book of Boba Fett into a (nearly) 5 hour seamless feature length film, similar to the Clone Wars and Rebels 4K HDR Feature Length Edits I've done before.

Even moreso than The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett works as a serialized epic, with one chapter leading directly into the other in most cases. While a few small breaks and timeskips can be inferred, most of the story is still structured like one very long feature film. So why not take advantage of that serialized nature and simply slice the show into that format for real?

Now, many people will ask about the flashbacks, chronological order, or other such approaches. After much consideration, I decided that though a chronological cut could be interesting, it couldn't really work without cutting into parts of Mandalorian Seasons 1-2, which I argue would not benefit as much from the insertions of Boba Fett's chapters, unlike something like the Revenge of the Sith Supercut. Here, I simply felt that a single serialized cut was the way to go.

The Cuts are now out and available in both 1080p and 4K HDR.

Man, I love this scene. This isn't related to the plot of the show, but Boba's one of the few people who has treated Mando with respect and shown camaraderie. The Armorer banished him, and Death Watch was throwing around insults, starting fights, and being arrogant. Love the friendship between these two

I love how as soon as mando starts getting shot at, boba jumps right in front of him. That’s the the way. Mandalorians always protect eachother

This moment I can watch on repeat two of the coolest mando’s fighting side by side… I can seriously watch din and boba being badasses all day “This is the Way”

Mando Is like a Tank absorbing so many blaster shots and Boba just keeps shooting, They are like a Shield and a Sword

What I love about these 2 shows is how they represent the invincibility of Beskar armor, but it still works like real armor. Yes, it's absorbing the blaster shots and keeping the person underneath alive, BUT it still can't fully absorb the kinetic energy of the shot itself and that alone can still knock down the person or even do damage internally by sheer force.

I'm reminded of a joke.
A general marching his troops through a canyon passes a cave. A voice from inside says, "One Mandalorian is worth ten soldiers."
So he sends in ten soldiers. Lights flash, fire roars, people scream, things blow up. After a long silence, the voice comes back. "I'm sorry, I meant one Mandalorian is worth a hundred soldiers."
So he sends in a hundred men. More shooting happens. Screams, explosions, sounds like a miniature Clone Wars in there. And then silence.
"One mandalorian is worth a thousand soldiers." The voice says.
Pissed off at this point, the general sends in two thousand. The canyon rumbles from the fighting. Screams, flying debris. The fighting lasts an hour. And then silence.
One of his men, barely alive, crawls from the mouth of the cave. Before he dies, he manages a few last words:
"Don't go inside! There's two of them!"

When Boba's return was rumored in Mando season 2, everyone expected him to be Din's rival. It's so much cooler that they wound up being bros

Boba: I can't abandon this city. The people need me. You should go.

Din: I won't abandon you. It's against the creed.

Boba: You believe in that bantha fodder?

Din: I do.

Boba: You sure you want to stay?

Din: (draws gun) This is the way.

This is what two motivated Manndalorians can do. Imagine what an army used to do. No wonder the jedi had so many issues with them

I could seriously just watch 10 straight hours of Boba and Din kicking ass together.

1:14 The way Boba said that slapped me right back into Star Wars Battlefront 2004 for a second.

This scene is beyond epic. Boba Fett and his new brother in arms Mando are fantastic together!!

1:21 - At first I thought Boba and Din kept on shooting this Pyke as he was falling down just to prove a point (and, the shot looked cool), but what I just noticed was that the Pyke was still shooting at them even as he was falling down. Boba and Din wanted him to stay down, nice little detail.

I just have to admire the sound effect of Boba's rifle :)

1:18 I like how the blaster shot bounced off Boba and hit Din and they both turn around and shoot the guy.
